This pendant was hand crafted with copper. I created color in the metal by using heat, and I finished a protective layer with Renaissance Wax Polish. I created a hand painted quail with acrylic paint on a copper plate. 

To care for your jewelry clean it with a microfiber clothing. Don't get your jewelry wet, avoid getting in the shower, pool or hot tub with it. Copper highly oxidizes with the environment and will get it's green color with time. For protection you can put some wax polish with a soft cloth.   Store your jewelry in an enclosed place, it is preferable in an individual bag made of anti-tarnish fabric.
